ROCK SOLID KIDS
Youth today need an engaging, fast-paced, and driven program that can instill a sense of confidence and the skills to back that up! That is exactly what you will find in our Rock Solid Kids Program. This is a must try for any youth! Perfectly blending of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ), Aikido, and Karate; our program’s goal is to empower your child with the skills for self-defense as well as every day life.
Starting as young as 4 and going up to the age of 12, The MAT Center continues to be the Woodlands and greater Spring’s most reputable program for children since 1997. Here are some valuable lessons your kids will learn in our martial arts program.
HONOR – COURAGE – DISCIPLINE
Our Rock Solid Kids Program will familiarize your child with the etiquette of being on the mat and also teach them to use the skills they learn as a way to defend against a physical confrontation. Other benefits include: improved balance, coordination, flexibility, and overall physical fitness. Our instructors will show them the many forms of bullying and how to deal with it from the moment it starts. Our program will also teach your child what do do when approached by strangers.
Instructors
The program developed by Michael Black Sensei and the late Master Luis Garcia is designed to help your child develop vital life skills while staying active and learning important self-defense techniques. Students in our Kids Martial Arts classes benefit from exciting, ever-changing programming that keeps them motivated week after week.
From our youngest students up through our most advanced teenagers, ROCK SOLID KIDS has provided physical, mental and emotional enrichment that many traditional sports and activities simply do not offer.
